Located in Warrensburg, the Warren County Fish Hatchery is a great destination for families! Since the early 1900's, the Warren County Fish Hatchery has been in operation and available to everyone for self-guided tours.
The Warren County Fish Hatchery has a visitors pavilion featuring information and the history of the hatchery. There is a display pond with fully grown brook and rainbow trout, as well as Atlantic salmon. For just a quarter, you can purchase a handful of pellets to feed to the fish.
The site also has a picnic pavilion (reservations necessary) with grills, public restrooms, a small playground for children, and canoe access to the Hudson River. The hatchery is a great place for a day out with the family, and it's free to visit.
