2025 Pruning Workshop at Hicks Orchard

Pruning is a vital part of the process in order to have healthy and successful orchard trees and fruiting bushes. Learn from the master himself, Hicks Orchard owner Dan Wilson, as he shares his decades of knowledge and walks you through live demonstrations on how to properly care for your trees. Participants should dress for winter conditions and wear suitable footwear. Safety glasses and pruning shears are recommended. This event is open to all skill levels from hobbyists to farmers.

Please bring photos of your fruit trees/fruiting bushes that you have questions about.

Tickets are $5 and includes free hot cider and a cider donut.

Notes: Please dress for the weather and have appropriate footwear as you will be walking out into the orchard for a live demonstration. Gloves and your own pruning shears are strongly suggested.
