After a siege from French forces beginning August 3rd, General Munro and the British were forced to surrender Fort William Henry on August 9th. Join us at 1pm for a commemoration on the lakeside lawn.

About this event

After a siege from French forces beginning August 3rd, General Munro and the British were forced to surrender Fort William Henry on August 9th. Join us at 1pm for a commemoration on the lakeside lawn of the Fort William Henry Hotel.

This will include a reading of the terms of surrender and wreath-laying at the military cemetery.
