About this event

St. James' Episcopal Church in Lake George has a historic 1911 E. M. Skinner pipe organ that was restored in 2008. Bryan Kirk, organist (left), and Holly Patterson (right), on oboe and English horn, will offer a special benefit concert on Sunday, November 17, at 4 p.m. for the church’s Skinner Organ Maintenance Fund.

Works by Bach, Dvořák, Franck, Gade, Langlais, Marcello, Selby, Wright, and a hymn sung by all will create a unique and friendly program to highlight this beautiful “Little Tiffany Window in Music” organ, in combination with a special musician from the Glens Falls Symphony. A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated, and the program will last about an hour.

For more information, please contact Bryan Kirk at 518-793-2521, ext. 217.
