You'll attend both days for a total of 6 hours.
Join us at the Creative Jam in January 2025 for a beginner-friendly class on black and white portrait drawing! This is 2 separate sessions (you attend both) that is perfect for anyone eager to explore the basics of portraiture. You'll learn foundational techniques such as shading, proportions, and capturing facial features, all in a relaxed, supportive environment. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! All materials are provided.
About your instructor
Kirt Winslow is a professional artist and has been a high school art instructor for the past 18 years. He teaches drawing, painting, and digital drawing using the procreate app on an Ipad. Kirt does commission work as well as his own artwork in his free time. He loves teaching students of all ages and abilities and has taught youth art summer camp as well as adult classes in the past.
