Batik Fabric Dye Art is the first of two kids workshops offered this summer at LARAC, taught by K-5 art educator and artist Kaitlyn McDougall. The workshop takes place over two days, July 16 -July 17, 10am-noon each day. The workshop is for children 4 to 10 years of age.
Students will learn how to create a batik art piece using white fabric, blue and acrylic paint over the course of the two mornings. They will learn drawing and painting skills and learn how to tie dye a small fabric with liquid watercolor to create their very own batik painting.
All materials supplied. $50 per child.
