Salary: $60,000/year minimum, plus excellent benefitsWe are seeking a motivated technologist to assist with system administration, system integration, automation, and custom development as part of the Enterprise Systems & Solutions team, a unit within Information Technology Services (ITS). Responsibilities are expected to include, but are not limited to: developing and maintaining scripts to automate routine processes and integrate disparate systems across the campus; assisting with the design, implementation, and support of enterprise systems and solutions, ensuring their stability and efficiency; collaborating with other ITS team members to design workflows and solutions that meet the needs of various stakeholders across the campus; working with campus stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions; participating in troubleshooting and providing support and documentation for existing systems, ensuring minimal disruptions to campus operations; and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing ideas for enhanced service delivery and efficiency.
The Enterprise Systems & Solutions team plays a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of various enterprise systems that support SUNY Plattsburgh’s mission. As a whole, ITS provides comprehensive technology support for campus needs inside and outside the classroom. This includes administrative computing, web development, integration, system support, and network infrastructure management. We also support SUNY Plattsburgh’s technology needs by providing services, tools, and facilities that keep the campus community working efficiently and create a stable, secure, and user-friendly environment.
