2024 Heroes of Hospitality: Sam Luciano

Sam Luciano joined the staff of Fort William Henry as a night auditor 40 years ago and worked his way through nearly every department at the hotel, including the kitchen, the laundry and the front desk, always with empathy for his coworkers and devotion to the customer experience.
Along the way he earned a U.S. patent for an innovative hotel bed design. Sam has served the greater community, too, as president of the Voluntary Action Center Board and as a member of virtually every tourism-related organization in Warren County.
He taught hotel management at SUNY Adirondack and guided the next generation of industry leaders as a member of the Adirondack Business Curriculum Advisory Board.
