Fresh Look, Same Flavor: The Pizza Shop Is Now Canepa’s Pizza Shop

After a decade of serving up delicious slices to the Warrensburg community, The Pizza Shop has officially rebranded as Canepa’s Pizza Shop.
The new name pays tribute to owners Giovanni and Maggie Canepa, who have been at the heart of the business since its early days. While the name has changed, the pizzeria remains committed to delivering the same high-quality food and welcoming atmosphere that customers have come to love.
As part of the rebranding, Canepa’s Pizza Shop has introduced a fresh new logo and an updated storefront, designed with the help of local businesses.
Baird Brothers Construction, a trusted name in the region, was responsible for the renovations, while Glens Falls-based Trampoline Design created the shop’s sleek new branding.
To recognize this milestone, Canepa’s Pizza Shop is planning a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event, set to take place in May, will give customers a chance to join in the celebration.
From classic New York-style pies to creative gourmet pizzas, Canepa’s menu continues to feature fresh ingredients and handcrafted flavors. Whether stopping in for a quick slice or ordering a family dinner, customers can expect the same great taste and friendly service that has defined the pizzeria for the past ten years.
More information, including the full menu, can be found on their updated website at canepaspizza.com.

Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival: A Weekend of Bluegrass, Community, and Scenic Views

Mark your calendars—Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival (formerly known as Bluegrass in Heaven) is coming to the shores of Lake George from September 12–14, 2025! Hosted at Silver Bay YMCA, the event will showcase a stellar lineup of bluegrass and "mountain music" artists, alongside new festival enhancements designed to create a more immersive experience for attendees.
What to Expect at the Festival
This year’s festival will feature a diverse mix of performers, blending traditional bluegrass with modern influences.
Friday’s opening night includes performances from Tim Rodrigue & Norm Allen, Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band, and the Bunker Boys. Saturday’s lineup brings On the Trail, City Pickers, Bloodroot Gap, and more. Sunday’s finale features a “Gospel Hour” and a closing performance from Upstate Bluegrass Band on the Inn Porch.
“We're thrilled to revamp Silver Bay's Mountain Music Festival this year, expanding the event to include more dynamic performances in the Auditorium and utilizing the central area of our campus to enhance the experience. This new layout will create more opportunities for guests to connect with the music, the artists, and the beautiful surroundings in ways we haven't done before,” said Lindsey Butler, Silver Bay’s VP of Sales and Marketing, in a press release.

A More Immersive Festival Experience
Silver Bay YMCA is introducing a revamped festival layout designed to enhance both the performances and the venue’s scenic backdrop. Attendees can look forward to artist-led workshops, a non-overlapping performance schedule, and VIP perks, including an exclusive dinner with the musicians.
