The paved trail winds gently through the woods, offering a cool, shaded escape on hot summer days. Along the route, lifelike dinosaurs move, roar, and educate, thanks to signage packed with fun facts for curious young minds.

Guests love the length of the walk itself. It's not too long, but just long enough!

About halfway through the loop, you’ll reach the Dino Nest, where the kiddos can stop and play.

Benches, picnic tables, and restrooms are placed along the trail for your convenience, making it easy to take breaks and enjoy the experience at your family’s own pace.

Shortly before heading back to where you began your adventure, you'll arrive at the Workshop Yurt where dino-themed activities are happening. Don't forget to stop by the Fossil Dig site and help unearth fossil bones.

As the trail winds toward its final stretch, adventurers will encounter the park’s most jaw-dropping resident: the World’s Largest Dinosaur—an unforgettable sight for all ages.

As one happy parent shared: “We loved the dinosaur part of the park the most! Perfect for kids and anyone who loves dinosaurs.”

Experience the Wonders of Being a Kid

Once you’ve conquered the age of dinosaurs, turn your sights to The Forest, where the fun continues with classic amusement park rides!

Many rides include signs explaining their history, offering a unique peek into the past of classic amusement attractions. This nostalgic charm is part of what sets Lake George Expedition Park apart - and keeps families coming back year after year.

“I dig vintage and there was a lot of that, but still maintained… it was mostly shaded, the lines were short, the food reasonable.”
