After a decade of serving up delicious slices to the Warrensburg community, The Pizza Shop has officially rebranded as Canepa’s Pizza Shop. The new name pays tribute to owners Giovanni and Maggie Canepa, who have been at the heart of the business since its early days. While the name and look have changed, the pizzeria remains committed to delivering the same high-quality food and welcoming atmosphere that customers have come to love.
As part of the rebranding, Canepa’s Pizza Shop has introduced a fresh new logo and an updated storefront, designed with the help of local businesses. Baird Brothers Construction, a trusted name in the region, was responsible for the renovations, while Glens Falls-based Trampoline Design created the shop’s sleek new branding. The result is a refreshed and modernized space that still retains the cozy, family-friendly feel that has made it a community favorite.
To celebrate this milestone, Canepa’s Pizza Shop is planning a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event, set to take place in May, will give customers a chance to see the new look, meet the owners, and enjoy some of the shop’s signature offerings. Longtime patrons and new visitors alike can look forward to special promotions and giveaways as part of the festivities.
Despite the changes, Canepa’s remains dedicated to serving the award-winning pizza that has earned them a loyal following over the years. From classic New York-style pies to creative specialty pizzas, their menu continues to feature fresh ingredients and handcrafted flavors. Whether stopping in for a quick slice or ordering a family dinner, customers can expect the same great taste and friendly service that has defined the pizzeria for the past ten years.
For those eager to check out the new Canepa’s Pizza Shop, the restaurant is open for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. More information, including the full menu, can be found on their website at canepaspizza.com.
New RV Park Coming to Lake George: Adirondack RV Opens in 2025

A new seasonal RV park is coming to Lake George! Local residents Nick DeMartino and Michael Buzzo have purchased Nob Hill Campground and plan to transform it into Adirondack RV, a modernized seasonal getaway for families.
Located at 351 Middle Road, the park will offer 30 campsites with power, internet, and shared bathhouse facilities. The new owners aim to create a welcoming space for long-term campers looking for an affordable retreat.
DeMartino and Buzzo have been longtime visitors to Nob Hill Campground and saw its potential. They plan to update the campground’s infrastructure and add new amenities, including a community center.
Adirondack RV will operate from April through November, giving campers plenty of time to experience the beauty of spring, summer, and fall in the Adirondacks. With easy access to Lake George and downtown, the campground will be a prime location for seasonal stays.
The new park is expected to be fully operational for the 2025 season. As Lake George continues to evolve, this project reflects a broader trend of improving campgrounds to better serve visitors.

Mark your calendars—Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival (formerly known as Bluegrass in Heaven) is coming to the shores of Lake George from September 12–14, 2025! Hosted at Silver Bay YMCA, the event will showcase a stellar lineup of bluegrass and "mountain music" artists, alongside new festival enhancements designed to create a more immersive experience for attendees.
What to Expect at the Festival
This year’s festival will feature a diverse mix of performers, blending traditional bluegrass with modern influences.
Friday’s opening night includes performances from Tim Rodrigue & Norm Allen, Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band, and the Bunker Boys. Saturday’s lineup brings On the Trail, City Pickers, Bloodroot Gap, and more. Sunday’s finale features a “Gospel Hour” and a closing performance from Upstate Bluegrass Band on the Inn Porch.

Dane Morton, owner of Adirondack Adventure Center and its neighboring convenience/grocery store, Harris Grocery, posted an exciting update on Facebook on January 24!

Morton shared the following message to Harris Grocery's Facebook page: "I got a Facebook message from a movie director last night around 8pm saying that their previous set location had fallen through, and they were looking for a general store to film a few scenes. Now here they are filming a Christmas movie at Harris Grocery. I was told it may be on Amazon Prime video once finished!"
