Topside Grille Reopens at the Algonquin, Offering Elevated Dining on Lake George

rustic looking bar area

After a five-year hiatus, Algonquin’s Topside Grille has reopened on its second story in Bolton Landing. Offering stunning views of Lake George, it is open Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Unlike the more casual Algonquin, Topside Grille encourages reservations!

Owner Keith Scott believes now is the perfect time for its return, citing Lake George’s evolving resort scene. With increased demand for upscale dining experiences, including from resort guests, first-time renters, and new lakefront homeowners, Scott aims to meet this demand with Topside Grille’s prime steaks, Cioppino, and pork ossobuco.

The restaurant’s ambiance is serene compared to the bustling Algonquin. To maintain tranquility, a children’s menu is excluded, and children under 10 are discouraged. Guests are encouraged to enjoy their meal leisurely, emphasizing a relaxed dining experience without the usual table turnover rush.

The reopening has also welcomed back longtime staff eager to contribute to this refined dining atmosphere once more. Topside Grille shares dock space with the Algonquin, allowing guests to arrive by boat.

Find Topside Grille at 4770 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing. For reservations, visit thealgonquin.com or resy.com.
